Therese began her career in the beauty industry 25 years ago in Northern California. She has a wide range of experiences having both taught and worked as a cosmetologist and aesthetician. Working for the world-renowned 77 Maiden Lane Salon and Spa for eight years in a managerial position stimulated her passion. Therese holds many licenses as well as being NCEA and laser certified. She has always maintained the highest level of aesthetics education proudly becoming a prestigious CIDESCO diplomat.

 

 

 

 

Beth Puglia, Beauty Industry Researcher

Beth is quite a value asset to the Institute.  Along with supporting the education of the students at the Institute, she supports her own education majoring in Art History as a part of the Herberger School of Art at Arizona State University. She has maintained a 3.5 GPA while working a full-time position at SMI. As a student, she understands the need for accuracy in the data recorded in student files. Her diligence and “no nonsense” approach to working with students in the capacity of Student Coordinator,  has given the Institute a reputation of the expectation of excellence.   

 

 

 

 

J’me Williams, Makeup Artist

J’me specializes in beauty, airbrush, print editorial, runway, exotic and commercial makeup artistry. As award winning makeup artist, she is consistently recognized for her innovative style, and is highly respected and sought after by industry professionals. With nearly 10 years of experience as a professional artist, J’me has worked for many prestigious cosmetic companies such as: True Cosmetics, Elizabeth Arden, Esther Lauder, Dior and MAC where she received her M.A.C Industry standard Certifications in Runway, Print Photography, Advanced Makeup(Camouflage and Contouring). Currently she is a Educator and Artistry Executive for Make Up For Ever Cosmetics. Her creative and modern approach to her craft, continues to make her a highly sought after freelance artist in Arizona.

 

Louis Silberman

Louis has owned several successful businesses in the health/beauty field over the years. He has been featured in entrepreneur and fortune small business magazines. He is the owner of both Physicians Skin Institute, www.psiscottsdale.com (a medispa in Scottsdale, Arizona) as well as National Laser Institute, www.nationallaserinstitute.com (a laser hair removal and photofacial and injectable training school in Arizona and Nevada).

Corrina Cooke, International Makeup Artist

Corinna trained at the prestigious Complections International School of Make Up in London. She went on to work in fashion, specializing in runway shows. While in London Corinna worked with world renowned make up artists Ruby Hammer, Dick Page and Charlie Greene.

Although she now lives in Arizona, Corinna still commutes to Hollywood to work, and travels internationally to shoot on location with her clients.

 

 

Toni C. Stockton, Board Certified Dermatologist
